From 28 to March 31, 2012 took the scout camp near Bobruisk. March 27 began the preparatory work for the camp, on March 28 came the rest of the campers. The program began with the game. After dinner and the evening spiritual program on the theme: ” What kind of court we judge, that kind of court we will be judged “, began the first part of the game “Night City”.
In this part of the game, participants had the opportunity to get a job and earn money. And during the second part of the game the participants were able to spend the money earned. Worked the following establishments: cafes, massage room, dart room, fear-room and a room of laughter, the illusionist-show, the room is the psychological support The main surprise was the play auction. At the auction, together with such necessary things as a flashlight, rain tent, tourist sitting place, compass played out toilet paper, plastic bag, an inflatable balloon, a plastic cup, pipette and other small items.. The program was wonderful!
Morning of the second day was rainy, so we spent the morning meeting in the house. Training also had to limit the knitting stretcher in the house. But the road in front of the house had to clean up during the rain. When the work ended, all participants were able to play the game “Capture the Flag.” During the game began raining again, but this is not marred universal delight. After lunch, the organizers of the program had a game-quest type well-known in Belarus “Encounter.” The children, divided into four teams, looking for the objects, on which were written different codes. And which team coped before, and she won.
Then there was a delicious dinner and after dinner, the leaders talked with the children about the faith that leads believers to salvation.
The most difficult test awaited the heroes in the evening. Leaders of organized games for those who wish to test themselves for strength. Not all were able to withstand trial. After passing the “pendulum” across the river, only a few participants remained in the dry clothes. And the street was quite cold – just 3 degrees Celsius. Then there were the long-running, pushups, squats, running back, the transition the river ford, the overcoming of the protected section of the road … Our house is gradually filled with wet and tired people, who left the game. The guys who did not participate in the game, gave them to drink hot tea, to twist in the yard and hanging by the stove their wet clothes. It was very nice that the guys care about each other.
Finally, the door flew open, and participants ran into the house. They were able to go the distance to the end. It was general surprise when, among a few of the guys we saw one girl!
Despite the hard extreme, these game are very pleased with the participants.
The third day of camp was devoted to examinations at 3 Scout rank. Therefore, immediately after breakfast, some people jumped at the textbooks. After dinner started exams. The exams passed 12 people. At night, after everyone had gone to bed, was initiated into the scouts. Our organization is supplemented by 8 new members. We congratulate our new scouts and wish them a long and eventful life in scouting and service to people.
In the morning we packed backpacks, cleaned the house and yard, summed up the camp and went home. Thanks to all the children and adults who helped in conducting this camp! Being a scout – it means to serve the people. Olga Tchaitsyna

Translation of the article, published in November 2011 in the “Church Orthodox Newspaper” – official edition of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
